Safing (Portmaster/SPN)#

Offers 2 FOSS projects:

  • Portmaster (advanced firewall (acts directly at the Windows/Linux kernel level) also uses domain name lists for DNS filtering, with a simple or advanced interface.
  • SPN (Tor Alternative) uses the same principle as Tor with nodes and encryption layers, but with more configuration options and bandwidth, acts on the entire operating system (included with portmaster, subscription needed).
